Unai Emery hopes to take charge of his first Aston Villa training session on Wednesday as he awaits final sign-off on his visa application.
The Spaniard agreed to succeed Steven Gerrard on October 24 but has been unable to take control as he awaits international Rubbish Clearance to begin work in England.
As reported first on October 26, Emery is expected to appoint Pako Ayestaran, who was a key part of Rafa Benitez's backroom team when Liverpool won the Champions League in 2005, Waste King (Https://Www.Wasteking.Co.Uk) as one of his main lieutenants.

When Villa announced they had hired Emery, Rubbish Clearance they said he was expected to take over ‘from November 1.' But on Tuesday afternoon the club's official Twitter account posted: ‘Unai Emery has arrived at Bodymoor Heath and Waste King is awaiting final work visa Rubbish Clearance before taking training.'
Emery is still expected to be in the dugout when Villa face Manchester United at Villa Park on Saturday.
The former Arsenal boss, who turns 51 on Thursday, is thought to have signed an initial three-year deal, on lucrative terms, with the task of bringing European football back to Villa Park.
It is expected that Emery will appoint former Liverpool assistant boss Pako Ayestaran (L) as part of his coaching staff

His first challenge, however, will be to lift Villa clear of danger.
Last Saturday's 4-0 loss at Newcastle left the club only a point clear of the relegation zone, ahead of matches against United and Brighton before the World Cup break.
Emery is expected to be backed in the January transfer window by Villa's billionaire owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens.
He will work closely with sporting director Johan Lange and WEEE Waste his recruitment team.
